Free Printable Christmas Advent Calendar

A Christmas advent calendar is a great way to get the kids excited about the holiday season. Starting 24 days before Christmas, it lets your kids count down the days until Christmas arrives.
If you don’t want to go with the chocolate or candy advent calendars (I’m with you) or any other branded option, making your own Christmas advent calendar at home is the right way to go. On this page, you will find our Free Printable Christmas Advent Calendar and our craft ideas to create your own Christmas Advent Calendar.

The Toronto New Mom Christmas advent calendar is 24 days of Christmas activities you can do at home with your little ones. Read the cards carefully, choose the ones that are right for your kids and remove activities that don’t work for your family.

After you print the cards at home, cut the cards out and set them up as an Advent calendar. To each day card (1 to 24), attach an activity card underneath.

Create Your Own Advent Calendar Board

Use any craft board. You can also use an old carton or even an Amazon box to cut your board. Paste one layer of glittery paper or fabric. I used a glue gun to paste all items.
Add 4 lines, ropes or even yarn. Use clips or hooks to attach the cards. If you have 4 lines, it will be 6 cards in each line.

Don’t have time? Here is my quick option – use a cooling rack and clips.

Don’t have any time? (I hear you). Just print out the printables and use magnets to attach the cards to your fridge.

Here is an option if you would like to add some treats or daily surprises to your Christmas Advent Calendar.

The last option is for parents who would like to add small gifts daily. You can use Paper bags and attach the card to the bag.
