Ontario Early Years Centres
The Ontario Early Years Centres located all across Toronto is a free government-run program offering daily Mom and Baby Programs and activities.
Keep in mind that even if the centre is far away from you, they may have other locations in your neighborhood that offer classes or drop-in programs throughout the week.
All drop-in programs, workshops, and classes are FREE for everyone.
To get started: find your nearest location, go to their main site to get your family number and download their schedule. Classes require pre-registration and the spots fill up very quickly.

Toronto Public Libraries
Some branches offer family programs such as:
Family Time (birth -5 years)-Stories, songs, and rhymes for children who are 5 years and under with parents and caregivers. Drop-in, free.
Toddler Time (19 months -3 years)-Stories, songs, and rhymes for toddlers with parents and caregivers. Drop-in, free. Click here to find your nearest library branch.
Toronto community Centres: Parent and Baby programs
The community centres in Toronto offer drop-in programs for babies and toddlers such as Indoor Play with Caregivers (1-5yrs), a 13 weeks program, free, drop in.
In addition, the centres offer programs for babies starting at 6 months such as Making Music with Caregivers (6-18 months). It’s not free, however, the cost is only $41 for 9 weeks, and will probably fit into most families’ budgets.
Keep in mind that you need to pre-register for this program in advance (a few months before). Their site is not very user-friendly. The best thing to do is to go to your nearest centre and register. You will get your family number to access the online registration. You can also ask in person about the programs they are offering and the schedule for the next session.

Davina’s Swim House
Swim class for parents and babies 6 months-24 months. Four locations in Toronto.
This program focuses on helping caregivers and their little ones build confidence in the water.
